Got a text about a job that wants me to deposit money first

I got a text from someone named Roxanne at 1(303) 505-9765. She said it was about an employment thing. She said I'd have to complete 40 tasks a day. But then she said I needed to deposit money first. That didn't make any sense to me. Why would I pay them for a job? It felt off right away. I didn't send any money.
