Emails about debt I don't owe with arrest threats

Got an email from someone named Ruth McMullen saying they were from a cash advance debt collection department. They said I owed $2979.61 and if I paid $1499.61 right away the case would be closed. I never took out any cash advance so this didn't make sense.

Then I got two more emails. They said there would be an arrest warrant and legal fees that would add up to $12,000. The email address was [email protected] which seemed off. No company name on anything. I didn't pay anything but the threats were weird.
