Got a fake job offer after emailing with someone named Danny Holly

I got an email first from a guy named Brian Mee who said he was from a UK financial company. Then I started emailing back and forth with someone else named Danny Holly at "Salford Property." I sent my resume over and answered some basic questions they had. Next thing I know, they're offering me a job without even doing an interview. It seemed weird but I wasn't sure. I only realized it was a total scam after I showed the emails to someone else and they pointed it out. Nothing made sense once I looked at it again.
