Bought earrings for my daughter but only one came in the box

I ordered earrings from Sarah Elise’s website for my daughter’s birthday. When the package came I was excited to give it to her. She opened the box and there was only one earring in there.

I contacted them thinking it had to be a mistake. They told me the earrings are sold as singles. But on my receipt it says earings and the picture on the website shows earings too. So that didn’t make sense to me.

I had to pay for shipping to send it back and I still haven’t gotten my refund yet. Not for the earring or the return shipping. Their address is 243 W 30th St, New York, NY 10001 and their website is sarahelisejewelry.com.
