Check for $199 with no company I ever dealt with

Got a check in the mail for $199. It said "Allocated Waver" on it from something called SC Housing, Corp. There was a letter with it telling me to call about a loan attached to my address.

I never called because I never had any business with this company. Never applied for anything with them. The whole thing felt off. Just a random check showing up with no reason.

Didn't lose any money since I just threw it away. But it was strange getting that in the mail.
