Text about a remote job turned into me losing money

Got a text out of nowhere about a remote job position. They had me download Telegram and I talked to a lady named Beth. She seemed real helpful at first.

Then they wanted me to deposit money so I could make more money. I did it. They gave me a company name and address at 220 East 42nd street in New York and everything looked legit. Until it wasn’t.

When I wanted my money back they said I had to send $2,846 to get my credit score to 100%. I said no way. But I already lost $2,844. Wish there was a way to get it back.
