Lost nearly $12,000 after trying to buy a toy from a fake website.

I tried to buy a toy from what I thought was the Schyllings website, Schyllinngstoys.us.com. I put my card info in but the purchase just didn't go through. I figured it was a glitch.

Then a couple days later I got a phone call. The person said they were from my credit union, alerting me about fraud. They asked for some info to verify my account. It felt off but I was worried.

The next day I went into my actual credit union to pick up a new card. That's when they told me. They found two separate transfers out of my account. Someone took nearly $12,000. The whole thing was a scam starting with that fake toy site.
