Man on Nextdoor asked me to watch his dog and send money back

Some guy emailed me after I used the Nextdoor app. Said he and his wife were moving to New Jersey from out of state and needed someone to watch his dog. He told me he was sending a check and wanted me to send him 4000 back.

I never got a check or anything. His email was [email protected]. The whole thing felt strange. I didn't send anything.
