Self Inc Lender held my $450 and only gave $45 back

I got a message about Self Inc Lender saying it was a way to build your credit. They said you pay money monthly and they pay it back at the end, or if you close early they only take a small part. That’s not what happened.

I deposited $450 with them. Now they’re only giving me $45 back. They charge 14% and don’t refund the full amount. They just hold your money.

It feels like they prey on people who are already in a bad spot financially. They promise to rebuild your credit and give your money back, but that doesn’t happen. It’s taking advantage.
