Got a message about a mortgage loan modification out of nowhere.

I got contacted out of the blue about a loan modification for my mortgage. They used the email [email protected] and a phone number, (919) 400-7073. They said they could help but then they asked for a credit card or a money order. It felt off right away. I didn't send any money, but the whole thing was just an unwanted message about a service I never asked for.
