Job offer asked me to pay for materials and then locked my social media

I found a job opportunity online and they contacted me to talk more about it. The employer wanted me to pay for the job materials and the shipping cost for them. I told them no because it felt weird to pay as the person trying to get the job. They said dont worry about it and it would be taken care of and to watch for an email.

Then they asked for my social media account info for employment stuff. I gave it to them and now I cant get back into my account. I messaged them on Teams and they said I have to pay to get my social media back. I asked them why I would need to pay for my own account and they didnt really give me a straight answer.
