Getting texts about a debt from a company I don't know

I got a text from 91651. It says it's from Shepard Outsourcing, about a debt with something called JEFFERSON CAPITAL SYSTEMS LLC. The text told me to visit a website portal.shepardoutsourcing.com and call 888-991-5696.

I have never heard of Jefferson Capital Systems LLC. I never borrowed money from them or had any interaction with them at all. But Shepard Outsourcing has sent me many more texts after that first one. It doesn't make any sense.
