Got a scam text pretending to be a debt collector.

I got this text message out of nowhere. It said they were a debt collector for Badcock LLC or the creditor Jefferson Capital Systems. The message had a link to Shepheroutsourcing.com/KJBWz and a phone number, (888) 251-9830.

I never signed up for anything with them. It felt like a total scam, trying to get my information. I looked it up and it's supposed to be a credit repair or debt relief scam. Luckily I didn't give them any money or click the link, but it's still annoying to get these messages.
