Job interview asked for my ID then strange email came

I applied for a job and had an interview over the phone. They seemed normal enough at first. After the interview they asked me to send a copy of my ID to them. I did send it because I thought it was part of the hiring process.

Then someone called me telling me about another email I needed to look at. I told my wife about the whole thing and she did some research on the company and the people. She told me it was a scam. I never gave any money but I did send my ID which worries me now. The email they used was [email protected] and the phone number was (970) 610-0210. The address they gave was 10200 E Girard Ave Bldg B STE 212 in Denver CO.

Job interview call that turned into a weird account setup request

I got a call from a guy named Tyler Wallace saying I applied for a job and he wanted to do an interview. I gave him my email and phone number and my full name.

A few days later a woman named Angelina Rodriguez contacted me to set up an account. She emailed from [email protected] and gave an address at 10200 E Girard Ave Bldg B STE 212 in Denver. It felt off so I decided not to go any further with it.

I never lost any money but the whole thing seemed strange.
