Job offer for remote freight inspector turned out to be a scam

I was contacted by Brianna Johnson on July 14, 2026 about a remote freight inspector job. I grabbed at it out of desperation since I hadnt had work for a long while. I filled out the application with my name and photos of my ID that they sent with their link. Then they told me my background check would take 1-2 business days.

The next day on the 15th I was called around 9am by Shelly York. She said my background passed and they would send a w4 form by email to fill out. She said they would start sending packages to my home in the next 3-4 days. After the call I searched up the company and everything I should know about the job. I saw on YouTube and Google search how it is most likely a scam. Then I came to Ecautious.com to see if it was flagged and now I see I was duped.

When I confronted them about it they basically threatened me legally saying I am obligated to do what I signed off on. Their phone number is (720) 844-2019 and their website is https://bit.ly/4wMwW1Y. Their address they gave is 1047 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204. The email was [email protected].
