Check and instructions for secret shopper job with Apple logo

I got this check in the mail from Social Market Way in Washington DC. It’s from Bank of America for $3,870.00. There was an instruction sheet with an Apple logo on it. They want me to text 213-234-8988 and 661-658-6452 to say I got it. The task coordinator is Michael Shaffer.

The instructions say I’m supposed to be a secret shopper and stay discreet. They say not to let anyone know I’m doing a survey. Then they want me to deposit the check and buy six $500 Apple or Sephora cards. The note says do not buy more than $500 on one card per store depending on restrictions.

I still have the Priority Mail envelope, the check, and the letter. I kept it all just in case.
