Phone call about direct deposit change I already made

I got a call from someone saying they were from the Social Security Administration. They said they were following up on a request I made to change my direct deposit. The thing is I changed it the day before they called.

It did seem off that I was getting called again about it. The number showed up as (688) 809-0602 and they said they were in GA, USA. I didn't lose any money but it felt strange. I just hung up.
