Job offer asking me to buy office supplies with a check
Then they told me they wanted to send me a check in my name so I could buy office supplies from their company website. That just didn't sit right with me. The email they used was [email protected] and the phone number was (332) 320-4074. I didn't lose any money because I stopped talking to them, but this whole thing felt off.
Job offer for administrative assistant turned into check deposit request
They told me they would pay for the supplies I needed to work remotely. Then they sent me a check for $4350 and said to print it out and deposit it through mobile banking only. That part felt strange but I went along with it at first.
I haven't lost any money yet but something about the whole thing didn't feel right. The check came from them but I never got any actual supplies or a real job start date. The phone number they used was (901) 317-5508 and their website is solarisresourcesinc.com. Their email was [email protected] and they said their address was in Canada.
