Ordered shoes from solrano.com and the whole return process was a mess

I ordered shoes from solrano.com. Before I placed the order, I emailed them to check. They wrote back saying they were a US company and the product was in the US. So I placed the order.

Then the shipping said it was coming from China. It took three weeks to get here. The shoes didn't fit right at all. I asked for a return. They started emailing me back, trying to get me to buy more stuff first. Then they offered a discount on a new purchase. Then they said they'd give me a $50 credit. I just wanted to send the shoes back for a refund.

Finally they said I could return them, but I had to ship them to Australia. The USPS shipping cost was going to be $106. So between the original price and the shipping, I'd be out $226. It just wasn't worth it. I'm stuck with shoes I can't wear, so I guess I'll just give them to someone else.
