Website said moving sale but sent cheap stuff instead
I bought two items and waited a bunch of days. When they finally showed up, the stuff was cheap and nothing like the pictures. I noticed other websites had the exact same products with the same sale but under a different name, which felt strange.
They have a 30 day return policy but when I tried to return it they told me to just keep the stuff and pick something else. So basically no refund. I still have the junk they sent and no money back.
Ordered shirts from a boutique that turned out to be in China
To ship them back it would cost me 35.15 with no tracking for First Class, or 70.30 with Priority and tracking, or 79.80 with tracking and express delivery. Plus an extra 15 dollars for each item returned. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee but there is no mention of the customer paying to ship returns all the way to China. You think it's a local boutique in GA but it's just a drop shipping operation. The return policy is misleading.
Bought two dresses from a mother-daughter company and got cheap junk
Well the dresses showed up and the fabric is really cheap and the sizing is totally off. Not even close. Their website says 30-day money back guarantee but now they won't honor it. They asked me to send pictures of the dresses first which I did. Now every email I get is a different offer but never a return for my money back. First it was 10% "goodwill" refund or a free item. Now the best they'll give is 20%. Also the front page says free shipping anywhere in the U.S. so you think return shipping would be in the U.S. too but nope it goes to China. I lost $114.90.
