Bought a hot tub from Facebook Marketplace and now they have my money and the tub
I found a hot tub on Facebook Marketplace for a decent price. They said it came with full install of the electrical lines and a 60 day worry free warranty. So I went to their store at 125 Payne Road in Anderson, SC, paid in person, and scheduled delivery and install.
They kept canceling and rescheduling the delivery and install over and over. When they finally brought the tub they refused to hook up the electric lines and told me to get an electrician even though I already paid them to do it. So I hired an electrician and he couldn't get the tub working, said there was a short in the board. The company came out and said yeah the tub won't start and blamed the electrician.
They picked up the hot tub and tried to get me to pay like $900 for a replacement board and other parts not even counting labor or delivery. I said no and asked for my money back. They said no, insulted me, and I haven't heard from them since. So now they have the hot tub and my $5400.
