Got a weird package with a QR code from a scam address

I got a package in the mail, just like some other people have. It was addressed to me. The return label said it was from someone named Jerry, and the address was 9208 Charles Smith Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. The shipping company listed on the label is SpeedX.

There's a QR code on the outside of the package. I haven't scanned it or opened the box. I looked it up online and found out this is a known scam.

I think it might be connected to something that happened last week. A friend's email got hacked, and I got a strange email from their account. Now this package shows up. It doesn't feel right.

Got a weird package of e-cigarettes I never ordered

I got a small package today from SpeedX. It was just dropped off in front of my door. Inside was a weird looking box with e-cigarettes and some type of liquid. I didn't order this. I've never even seen anything like it before.

I didn't open it because I was worried it could be hazardous or dangerous material in there. What's really odd is that I don't get any mail at this address at all. The shipper address on it was 2452 Gillingham Circle, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362.
