Got a threatening email about a loan I never took out

I got an email from someone named Janet at Speedy Cash. She said I took out a loan, which I never did. She said I solicited funds and now there's a returned check and pending criminal charges against me.

I asked for documentation to prove any of this. Janet said she can't send any paperwork because it's a time-sensitive situation. She said the only way to resolve it is if I make a payment. That didn't make any sense to me. I denied taking out a loan from them.
