Email pretending to be my boss asking for gift cards

I got an email at my work address from [email protected] and they were pretending to be my boss. They asked for my phone number so I gave it to them because I thought it was really him.

Then they texted me saying I needed to go buy gift cards for the team at the office. It felt off right away. I didn't go through with it but it was pretty weird they used my work email like that. The phone number they texted from was (347) 963-3701.
