Phone call claiming benefits for a license I don’t have

I got a call and the caller ID said Public Service. The person said they were from the State Licensure Benefits Assoc, and told me that my current job and DPH license now qualified me for benefits like police officers get. I don’t work in law enforcement or anything close to that.

They said they already sent me something in the mail about it, and then asked for more personal info. I told them I had to go and tried to hang up, but they started talking faster saying they could do it quicker to keep me on the line. I just hung up and blocked the number (475) 314-9814. They are in Shelton, CT.
