Strange job interview on Microsoft Teams chat with no voice or video
On May 4, I interviewed with her using Microsoft Teams chat. The interview felt sketchy because I have never interviewed with anyone without hearing their voice or seeing their face. She said to contact her tomorrow to find out if I get that job. Usually the recruiter would call the candidate if they are being offered the job not the other way around.
Being that I researched Steward Health Care who filed for bankruptcy in 2024 and sold most of their U.S. hospitals, I believe this is a scam and the scammers have gone as far as to create a mirrored website of the original Steward Health Care website.
Got an email about a job I never applied for
I never applied for anything with them. I don't know how they got my email. The whole thing just felt off. I didn't lose any money but it's annoying getting these random messages. They said to disregard if I'm not interested but I didn't even know I was being considered for anything.
Got a strange job offer email from a Samantha Davis
The whole thing felt off. I never applied to them. The email address looks weird, like it's trying to be official but isn't. They didn't give a phone number or a real company website to check.
I'm just writing because it seems like a scam. They didn't ask for money, but it's a strange way to contact someone for a job. I don't want anyone else to get tricked.
