Lost $93 to fake sea glass art page on social media

I got a message from a young man on social media. He said his mother makes sea glass art from glass she finds by the ocean. He asked me to check out her page and support her by buying something.

There was a whole page, or pages, showing an older woman collecting sea glass and all her handmade items. In the videos, it looked like she was even talking. I know now it was all AI generated. There's no old woman and no sea glass crafts.

The website said they were in the USA, but it's actually a company based in China. I lost $92.92 to this. The contact email was [email protected].
