Approved for an apartment but asked for more money before the tour

I found an apartment listed on StreetEasy and got approved for it. The person emailing me, Rebekah Gibson from [email protected], said if I paid a $1,950 down payment, I could view the place the next day and it would be secured. So I paid it.

On the day the tour was supposed to happen, she asked for another $1,950. I refused to pay more, and then she said I couldn't see the apartment at all. I asked for my money back. They said they'd send a check. Then I got a phone call from them saying they made a mistake and sent me $19,500 by accident instead. The number was (213) 539-9197. I never got any refund.
