Signed up for a dollar trial and they tried to charge me 39 without asking

I signed up for use of that app for like 2 or 3 days for 1 dollar. Then my bank blocked a subscription payment of 39.00 that I did not sign up for but the app just automatically signed me up. Thank God my bank blocked the charge.

I emailed them and asked to unsubscribe me immediately. They said I had to do it myself in the app. But the "app" is not even a real app, it just takes you to an ad in a looping cycle and you cannot click on subscription management anywhere. Total scam.

So I sent another email more assertive and told them to unsubscribe me now, that this is a scam, and my bank blocked them from any more transactions. They finally responded saying I am now unsubscribed.
