App called Super Ear keeps charging me and won’t cancel

I downloaded this app called Super Ear from the Play Store. It’s supposedly based in Israel. I think they were listening to me through it. I kept hearing responses to stuff I was doing, like they forgot to hit mute on their end. Creepy.

There’s no unsubscribe button in the app. The VIP customer service just links to an email. I asked for a full refund and to cancel. No reply. I contacted them again later and they said they can’t cancel my subscription without my original receipt. So I found it and sent it to them multiple times in different ways. They seem to be ignoring it now.

They’ve been charging me $16 a week. When I signed up for the free trial it wasn’t clear if it was weekly or monthly. I keep demanding a refund and they won’t even cancel my sub, saying it’s “for security purposes.” I’m probably not getting my money back. I’m going to contact my bank.
