Charged by Superprof before I even found a tutor

I signed up with Superprof, a tutoring company. They clearly said they wouldn't charge my account until I actually found a tutor. A tutor contacted me, and right then they charged me. That's not how the payment process was supposed to work. They took $49 and now they won't give me a refund. This feels like a scam.
