Job offer for $5,000 a month seemed off

I got a message about a job opportunity. They said the base pay was $5,000 a month. That sounded really good at first.

The number they used was 1(248) 250-0756 and an email from [email protected]. The address they gave was in TX, USA. I didn't lose any money but something felt strange about the whole thing.

I just wanted to put this out there so people know. The pay seemed too high for what they were describing.
