Letters about a debt I don’t owe and now they called my work

They been mailing me letters for a few weeks now saying I owe over 4,000 dollars on a credit card with some bank called Barclays. That is not true. I never had any debt with that bank and I don’t even think there is one near me.

Every time I called the number on the letter to ask about it or question if it was real, they just hung up on me. So after a while I started sending the mail back with little notes on the envelope and the letters stopped. But now they are calling my work place and even sent an email to my elderly father about this supposed debt.

This has gone too far. Something needs to be done.
