I got this automated call from someone named "Susan McNeil." The recording said the underwriters had approved me for a personal loan of $90,000. It even said my phone number was associated with a loan request, which it isn't.
When I got a real person on the line, they gave an American-sounding name. I started asking questions about it and they just hung up on me. Then they blocked my number. I called back from a different number and the same thing happened. Same fake name, and as soon as I told them I never requested a loan and that this was fraud, they hung up and blocked me again. The call came from Apple Valley, CA.
