Ad said handmade jewelry from Santa Fe but came from China

I saw an ad for handmade jewelry from Santa Fe. It said a mother and daughter had to close their shop and everything was 80% off. A $139 item for $29. So I bought about $300 worth.

I got the package today. A whole month later. It came from China. I found the exact same stuff on Temu for $3.99 each. The website is cdn.shopify.com and their email is [email protected].

Now they say there is a 15% restocking fee if I can even get a return address. This feels wrong.

Ordered artisan jewelry from going out of business sale, got cheap junk instead

I ordered from this website susanjewelryco.com because they said they were a mother/daughter jewelry business in Santa Fe going out of business and selling everything cheap. It sounded real and I felt bad for them so I spent $131.07.

The stuff came and it’s not handmade at all. It’s cheap costume jewelry, the kind you see in a bin. I checked the tracking and it came from overseas, not New Mexico. The email they used was [email protected] and the phone number was (708) 300-9472. I tried calling but nobody picks up. Just feels like they made the whole story up to get people to buy.
