Ordered a Bible and got charged extra without warning

I ordered the Bible in a Year devotion from Tamora Bibles because I thought they were a real company. The shipping was delayed and then I saw a charge for $39.99 on my credit card from them. I only ordered one thing one time.

There was nothing about any premium subscription when I bought it. No mention at all. So now I'm out the money and I never got what I ordered. Just don't buy from them.

Charged monthly after buying a yearly bible study

I bought a yearly bible study from Tamora Bibles. They sent me the books and everything seemed fine at first. Then about a month later I noticed a charge of $39.99 came out of my account.

I thought I paid for the whole year upfront but now they are taking money every month. I didn't sign up for that. I only wanted the yearly thing. Now I'm out almost forty bucks and I don't know what to do.

Bible study guide came but now they keep charging my account

I ordered a bible study guide from Tamora Bibles back on April 24th, paid $36.69 and got it. Then on May 18th they charged my bank account another $39.99. Then again on June 12th. I never signed up for any recurring payments or agreed to that.

I did not authorize those extra charges. That's $79.98 they took out of my account without asking. I just wanted the one guide. Now I don't know how to stop them from doing it again.

Bible study turned into monthly charges I never agreed to

I bought a Bible study from them and there was nothing about a subscription for 39.99. Then I got charged for three months—April, May and June. There is nothing to subscribe to. No services, no information, no study group. It is all a hoax. There was no warning there would be this charge.

I did pay $41.98 and received the study guide back on March 23, 2026. I called my bank and cancelled the debit card. I also went on the website and cancelled the "subscription." I do not trust these people with my card. Their email is [email protected] and the website is tamorabibles.com. Their address is in PA, USA. The phone number they used is (503) 483-6293.

I lost $119.97 total.

Bible study guide order turned into repeated billing with no way to stop it

I ordered a Bible study guide from Tamora Bibles and I did get it. But since then they have been billing me over and over. I have tried to contact them but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get through to anyone. Their website is www.tamorabibles.com and the phone number is (503) 483-6293, email [email protected]. I sent emails and called. Nothing.

Because I used a debit card my bank says they need the business to agree to cancel the billing or they can’t do anything about it. So I’m stuck. I lost about $80.00 total. DO NOT BUY anything from them.

Ordered a study bible and now they charge me every month for nothing

I ordered a study bible from Tamora Bibles and that was fine. But then they started charging me $39.99 a month for no reason. I did not sign up for anything and I do not receive anything for this charge. I just wanted the bible, not some monthly thing I never agreed to. It doesn't make sense.
