Got a weird call about tax account verification

I got this call from someone named Page Farnton. She said she was with the Compliance Review Department at the Tax Mediation and Account Support Office. The message said my account was listed for possible issues and they had a "no wait verification line."

She wanted me to call back to confirm my filing status. The whole thing felt off. She said the call was brief and just for verification, and it was the most direct way to get clarity. The number she left was 888-870-1240. The message ended by saying if I didn't need assistance, I could call back and press 2 to be removed. I never signed up for anything from them.
