Website charged my card twice after IRS letter

I got a letter from the IRS telling me to call and set up an appointment at my local office to go over an old statement. There was a deadline on it. I tried calling the local office a bunch of times but their hours are so limited I never got through to a real person.

So I went online and found TAXEXPERTNOW.com. The guy I talked to made it sound like he worked with the IRS as a third party or something. He said for a $5.00 charge, which he said was refundable, he could answer my questions. But then he said he couldn't help me with the scheduling part. I hung up. Then I saw my credit card got hit for $65.00.

Now I just got my August statement and there's another charge on there for $70.00 from them. I never agreed to any of that. I just needed help with the IRS appointment.

Repeated credit card charges from a company I never signed up for

Taxexpertnow.com keeps trying to charge my credit card two times for $65 each. My credit card company has blocked them and even changed my card number a few times but they still keep getting through somehow. I guess they think it’s some kind of subscription payment or something.

I have never signed up for their service at all. Not once. It’s just frustrating because no matter what I do they keep trying to take money from me. Their address on the charges is 440 N Barranca Ave Suite 7508, Covina, CA 91723.
