Letter from The MLS Group saying my file is unresolved
There is no company name on it that I recognize. I never bought anything from them or signed up for anything. The phone number listed is (732) 633-0278 but I have no idea who that is. It just feels strange getting a letter like this out of nowhere.
I didn't lose any money but I don't like getting mail like this. It doesn't make sense.
Letters saying my file is still active with no explanation
The letters are signed by Charles M. Hubbard from something called Resolution Team. They want me to call 855-203-6516 or reply to confirm my position. One letter says escalation is imminent and my file will move forward without my input. But I dont even know what file they mean or what this is about.
No company name on the first letter just says The MLS Group Stop. No website either. I havent lost any money but it feels strange getting these threatening notices about something I never did.
Debt collector calling about old bill I don't recognize
The letter was signed by Amelia J. Wittman from their resolution team. They claim they've done repeated outreach but I never got anything before this. I called the number they gave and it just feels off. No one can tell me what the actual debt is for or give me any proof. I'm not paying anything until they show me what I supposedly owe.
Letter about a debt for my sister I don't talk to
They were trying to collect a debt from her. I don't know why they sent it to me. I haven't talked to her in years. I didn't call them back or anything because it didn't make sense. I didn't lose any money but it was weird getting that.
Letter about a debt I don’t recognize with no resolution
I have no idea what this is about. They didn’t even say what the debt is for. I called the number on the letter which is (855) 203-6516 but nobody picks up. I think it’s a scam or some kind of debt collection thing but I’m not sure. They want me to respond but I don’t even know what I’m supposed to respond to.
It’s been a few days and nothing is resolved. I just want them to leave me alone or tell me what this is actually about.
Text message asking for my wife’s info
Said it was a formal request to confirm her current location or employment details. They wanted a prompt reply so they could complete this verification process. Signed by Megan M. Nowak from Resolution Team at The MLS Group.
Didn’t ask for money or anything but felt off. Never signed up for anything like this.
Got a weird text about a file being transferred, asking me to log in
The link they sent is https://portal.the-mls-group.com/. The reference number is 1474862. It was signed by someone named Renee M. Callahan from the Resolution Team. At the bottom it says to text "0" to opt out.
Then I got another text later. This one says they've contacted me repeatedly and haven't received confirmation. It says to respond today to retain control over the outcome. That one was from a Natalie R. Warren, also on the Resolution Team.
I never signed up for anything with The MLS Group. I don't have a file with them. It felt off, so I didn't click the link. I just wanted to report this text because it seems like a phishing attempt. The number it came from is (314) 343-1170.
