Someone pretended to be from Jack's Dining Room for a paid marketing deal

A person reached out saying they were a co-founder or owner of Jack's Dining Room. They wanted to do a paid marketing thing with us. We went back and forth a few times and they sent over a contract and an invoice asking for payment through ACH.

Something felt off so before sending any money I contacted Jack's Dining Room directly to check. They told me the person, the email address [email protected], and the whole payment request had nothing to do with them.

We didn't send any payment. I'm reporting this because someone lied about being connected to a real business to try and get paid.
