Got a fishy job offer asking for my driver's license and bank info

I got contacted for a job from Theexpertvirtualassistsnt.com. They're based in Overland Park, KS and their email was [email protected]. They wanted me to start filling out forms, including giving them my driver's license for their records.

The whole thing felt off from the start. I thought they were fishy, so I stopped there. I never filled out the I9 form or the tax form for payroll. I did give them a bank account number for payroll, but it's an extra account I keep just for this reason. It's an account I can shut down anytime. I didn't lose any money, but they got my license and that's bad enough.
