Text about a $19.97 charge I never made, then told to call a fake number

I got a text on 6/20/26 from something saying Total Choice FCU FRAUD ALERT. It asked if I used my debit card for $19.97 at TODAYDISCOUNTS. I was supposed to reply Y or N so I said No.

Right away I got another text saying my card was blocked and to call 1-866-426-4382 with a case number. That number doesn't match the real fraud alert number I have for my credit union. I checked my account and there was no $19.97 charge. I never called them back.

It's just a scam trying to get you to call and give info. Be careful.
