Called about a 10-year-old check I never wrote

I got a call from someone saying they were Tru North Resolutions. They said there was a check from 10 years ago that I needed to resolve or they would take me to court for malicious intent. They already had my last 4 of my SSN, an old address, and my current phone number.

I asked them to send me something in the mail or email about this supposed debt. They refused. When I told them politely I wasn't comfortable giving them any info, they got nasty. Said "have fun in court, get your affairs together" and hung up.

Sounds like this isn't the first time they've pulled this.
