Dinner to cancel timeshare turned into losing thousands

We got invited to this “Cancel your Timeshare” dinner by TS Compliance. They did this whole big presentation about how owning a timeshare is a total scam and how we should get out of our contract. Everyone in the room was convinced. They said they could do it for us for thousands of dollars.

Before we paid, we did look them up. Their websites looked real and legit. They were really good at faking it.

After the meeting ended, nothing. No calls back, no one answers the phone. They just completely ghosted us and we are out $9,500.
