Got a text from "Tom" at UHB Investments about buying my old house

I got a text from someone named "Tom" who said he was from UHB Investments. He was saying he wanted to buy a home from me. The thing is, I don't even own that home anymore. I sold it a while back.

He was offering a price for it, but the amount was way too low. It was much less than the assessed value, and way under market value. The whole thing just felt off. Why is he texting me about a property I don't own, and with such a low offer? It didn't make any sense.

Got a weird text from someone named Tom about selling my house

I got a text message out of nowhere. It said "Hi (my name), this is Tom with UHB Investments. Would you consider selling (my home address) in the $55,000 - $64,000 range? Reply Yes if so, or STOP to end."

It felt really off. They used my full name and my exact home address. I never heard of UHB Investments. I didn't reply or anything, no money was taken, but it's just creepy. The number was (937) 365-0736 and it said they were from Ohio. I don't know how they got my info.

Got a weird text about selling my house from a number I don't know

I got a text message out of the blue. It said "Hi [stepmothers name], this is Tom with UHB Investments. Would you consider selling ** ****** ***** ** in the $319,000 - $372,000 range? Reply Yes if so, or STOP to end."

I don't know any Tom from UHB Investments. The text came from (248) 653-5453. They had my stepmother's name, which felt off. I never signed up for anything from them. I just got this random message asking about selling a property. I didn't reply or lose any money, but it was unsettling to get.

Got a weird text about selling my house for half its worth

I got a text from someone named Tom saying he’s with UHB Investments. He asked if I’d consider selling my house for between $182,000 and $215,000. That’s about half of what my place is actually worth right now. The message said to reply “Yes” if I was interested or “STOP” to end it. The whole thing felt off—I never signed up for anything from this company. The text came from the phone number (734) 535-9973.

Got a text from UHB Investments about selling my house

I got a text message out of the blue. It said, "Hi, (my name), this is Tom with UHB Investments. Would you consider selling (my home property) in the $125,000 to $148,000 range? Reply Yes if so, or STOP to end."

I never contacted this UHB Investments. I don't know who Tom is or how they got my name and number. It felt really off. The text came from the phone number (313) 540-9635. They said their address is in Michigan. I didn't reply or lose any money, but I don't like getting these random messages about my property.

Got a text from UHB Investments about selling my house

I got a text from a guy named Tom saying he's with UHB Investments. He asked if I would consider selling my house for a specific price range. He told me to reply Yes if I was interested or STOP to end the messages.

The text came from the phone number (781) 352-9501. The address listed was just MA, USA. I never contacted this company or gave them my information. I don't know how they got my number or my address details. It felt really off to get a message like that out of the blue.

Got a text about selling my late father's property

I got a text message from someone named Tom at UHB Investments. The text said, "Hi [my father's name], this is Tom with UHB Investments. Would you consider selling [property address] in the $159,000 - $188,000 range? Reply Yes if so, or STOP to end."

My father is the person named in the text. He passed away. It felt really wrong to get a message addressed to him like this, asking about selling his property. I don't know how they got his name and that address. I didn't reply to it. The number was (734) 535-9967.

Got a text about selling my house from a company I never heard of

I got a text from a guy named Tom saying he's with UHB Investments. The message was addressed to "Andrew" and asked if I would consider selling my house at a specific address for a certain price range. It told me to reply "Yes" or "STOP."

I have no idea who this Tom person or UHB Investments is. I never gave them my number or asked about selling my property. It felt really off to get a text like that out of the blue. The phone number it came from is (434) 290-1597. I didn't reply and I didn't lose any money, but it's just an unwanted message about something I never signed up for.
