Call about legal documents with a file number and no company name
They said they’d only try twice and if I didn’t sign it would be a failed action and the matter would go forward without me. They gave a number to call at 866-507-1081 to reschedule. Felt strange. No real company name on the call.
Phone call about legal document delivery with a file number
He said they will only try 2 times to deliver and I have to sign for it. If I miss it, it counts as a failed action to serve and the matter goes forward without me. Then he said to call 866-449-2046 if I need to reschedule.
The whole thing felt strange. No company name on the caller ID, just a number (986) 203-3337. I never got anything in writing from any law firm. It sounds like a phishing scam to me.
