Same Thing I got almost verbatim
Voicemail about legal document delivery with a file number DA****** and no company name
Got a voicemail from someone named Paul Hansen saying he’s from United Courier Service. He said they need to deliver legal documents to me tomorrow between 8 AM and 4 PM, and they’ll only try twice. If I miss it, the matter goes forward without me.
He gave a file number and a phone number to call, 866-763-9113. Said the call was logged as proof I was notified. No company name on anything, just that number. This definitely did feel strange and didn’t make sense. I didn’t call back as well.
We are the people he has chosen to prey on but chosen wrongly. See this time I have been trained by corporations to spot fraudsters like this one. Don't fall for its folks if you get this message! He sent it to my wife and me, and I will not let him get away with it again. I've already had the computer forensics team run diagnostics on my computer and phone line, and they will let me know when it gives me his real address and number and IP address to give and hand over to the authorities.
Also, we would all never have the exact same issues happening, what are the chances?
