Caller said my dad's insurance went down because he's turning 90

Somebody called my elderly father and told him his insurance had gone down since he is about to turn 90. The guy said he worked for United Health Care and needed payment upfront. He told my dad to go to myplanassistance.com to pay.

My dad asked my youngest daughter to do the transaction for him. The only paperwork she could print shows $229.94 but the credit card has extra charges from the same company too. Then another woman called my dad and said they could not take credit cards they needed a debit card instead.

When I found out about this I am going to help cancel the credit card so no more charges show up. The phone number they used was (833) 445-7815 and they are supposedly in Denver, CO. This is a scam for sure targeting old people and needs to stop. Please let me know what else I can do.
