Phone message saying my social was used for a new card

Someone called my work phone and left a message. They said somebody opened a new credit card in my name and they even gave the last 4 of my social security number. They left a number to call back at 929.605.0251.

I didn’t call that number back. I pulled my Experian report instead and there was no new credit card opened. So it was obviously a scam. Just be careful if you get a message like this, don’t call the number they give you. Always call the number on your card or bank.
