Text about a health policy balance with no real details given
Then they said I had to pay or my BCBS account would be inactivated and claims sent to collections. They said it was an insurance payment that got reviewed and declined by an underwriter, and it was 6-8 months past due. But they couldn't give me any details about what service this was for or where it happened. When I pushed, they said based on the billing code it could be ER, virtual medicine, or urgent care. They wouldn't say more because of HIPAA. Then they said they worked directly for the insurance company, not the provider.
